DESCRIPTION:
UVCuringadhesivecuresinsecondswhenexposedtotheappropriateintensityofvisible(blue)orUVlight.Italsocontainsasecondarythermalcuremechanismforapplicationswithshadowedareas.Thishighviscosityadhesiveprovideslowshrinkageandgoodmechanicalstability.ItiswellsuitedforLEDmounting,laserdiodepackaging,fiberpigtaillngandtransceiveractivealignmentandpotting.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Thisadhesiveisformulatedtocureuponexposuretovisible(blue)orUVlight,Curingwithvisiblelightallowscuringofhighlyfilled(upto80%byweight)gradesandcuringthroughUVopaquesubstrates(suchaspolycarbonateoralumins).Additionally,useofvisiblelightprovidesincreasedoperatorsafetybyeliminatingexposuretopotentiallyharmfulUVradiation.However,UVcuringisparticularlyadvantageouswhereaveryrapidcureorcuringofathissectionisrequired.
Forvisiblelightcuring,alightsourcewithapeakoutputat470nmismostefficient.ForUVcure,awiderangeofcommerciallyavailablelampsystemsareavailable.Permittingcuringofbondprofilesinsecondscoupledwithatack-freesurface.
UVCuringadhesivesshouldbeallowedtoreachambienttemperaturepriortouse,Safeyellowlightisrecommendedforvisiblelightinitiatedgradesduringhandlingpriortocuring.Dimmed |
